Esk Rail Trail Getaway

Great rides, good company and plenty of laughs!
Fancy a few days away exploring the beautiful Brisbane Valley Rail Trail?
Noel Wood is organising another Esk cycling getaway, and this time there are shorter ride options, making it easier for more members to join the fun!

The getaway will run from Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 May 2027, with accommodation at Esk Caravan Park, which offers both camping sites and cabins. Unlike previous years, it won't coincide with the Esk Camp and Jam Festival.

Here's what's planned:

Tuesday: Arrive, settle in and enjoy trivia night.
Wednesday: Ride to Coominya (50 km return) or Mt Hallen (25 km return), followed by afternoon Finska and an evening sing-along.
Thursday: Ride to Toogoolawah (50 km return) or enjoy a shorter 25 km ride. Afternoon tennis or bowls (subject to arrangements), followed by a fun talent show.
Friday: A treasure hunt around Esk before heading home.

Evenings will be spent together in the caravan park's dedicated Chill 'n Grill area, with room for around 30 people. Groups booking more than 10 sites can also enjoy a 7.5% accommodation discount.

Whether you're keen on the longer rides or prefer a more relaxed pace, this promises to be a wonderful few days of cycling, friendship and fun.
